- Mechanics: Excellent working condition. Unlike many vintage novelty buckles, all individual discs slide freely and smoothly on the rods without catching.
- Finish: This piece currently retains its beautiful, authentic 50-year-old dark unpolished vintage patina. It shows off the incredible depth and history of the metal perfectly. However, because it is genuine solid brass, it could easily be polished up to a bright, brilliant gold finish if so desired.
